Arctic blast: a footnote for Canadian pricing

As the chill winds blow around the northern hemisphere, the US occasionally experiences a blast of frigid cold air thrusting deep into our heartland, sometimes as far as Florida. We fondly refer to this as The Arctic Blast and are reminded of our Canadian friends to the north. However, at NAGS, we really don't need the blast to remind us. Our Canadian friends are always on our minds.A lot has been happening with the updates of the Canadian Benchmark Calculator this past year, and it looks like this new year will be just as exciting. Our first update of the year 2001 was published in July. The Canadian market saw some significant changes from the prior release of October 2000, which had become quite aged. There were 4631 OEM dealer price changes in the Canadian data since that publication. Of these, 1182 prices decreased and 3449 prices increased. There were also more than 300 new vehicles with over 2000 glass parts added in that interim period.
