Jim and Cyndi McConkey say the safety standards in the autoglass industry need to improve and they are doing something about it.The McConkeys have been involved with the autoglass industry since 1979 as independent shop owners and now a managing operators of Standard Auto Glass in Brantford, Ontario. They are committed to educating their industry as well as the public about proper autoglass installation procedures.Although they have practiced nothing but the highest standards when it comes to performing windshield installations for their customers, they started to become more active in sharing their concerns for safety while Ji was a volunteer firefighter.
