EuroTier 2010, a resounding success

The event registered a record attendance with nearly 140,000 visitors taking part in it -an increase of eight per cent compared with the previous edition figures. EUROTIER 2010, HELD at the sprawling exhibition grounds in Hannover, Germany recently, proved to be more than just a livestock industry expo. An upbeat mood prevailed throughout the four days as the industry enjoyed the new experience of doing business in a unique environment. On an exhibition area of almost 18 hectares (a plus of two percent), more than 1,900 exhibitors (predominantly German companies with about 780 overseas firms), showcased their modern, innovative and professional concepts for agricultural animal husbandry. The show also included a comprehensive programme of seminars,presentations and press conferences for animal production and management.
