摘要

High-porosity cellular materials for filtration of aluminum melts were produced using the mineral resources and technogenic wastes in Uzbekistan. It was shown that in the method of permeation of a polymer framework the permeability is determined, first and foremost, by the porosity of the polyurethane foam; the mechanical strength largely depends on the phase composition of the ceramic base and the amount of electrolyte in the slip. The permeability, density, and strength in compression of the materials obtained are, respectively, (1.4 - 1.7) x 10 (- 9) m(2), 0.4 - 0.45 g/cm(3), and >= 1 MPa.
