Chevron Awards Contracts for US Gulf Projects

Chevron has awarded Wood Group conceptual engineering contracts for two potential deepwater oil development projects in the US Gulf of Mexico. Wood Group said the so-called "pre-Feed" (front-end engineering and design) contracts are for two semisubmersible production platforms for the Tigris and Anchor projects. Chevron is still at an early phase of planning how the two projects could be developed, if it decides to go ahead with them.
