New machinery for steel window specialist

Crittall Windows, a leading UK manufacturer of steel windows and the second largest supplier of steel windows in the USA, has purchased a new Mecal CNC machining centre from West Midlands-based cutting and sawing technology specialists, Addison Saws. Crittall says that the ￡140,000 machining centre - a Mecal MC 305 Gianos 5-axis twin table model -will boost its production capabilities and efficiency. Installed in January 2015, Crittall says it will also bring new levels of flexibility to machining operations across the entire range of windows produced at its factory in Witham, Essex.
