The fenestration market has changed considerably over the last five years with the introduction of a number of minimum requirements for all people surveying or installing windows and doors. We initially saw window energy ratings (WF.Rs) come into the sector in October 2009, CE marking in )une 2013, followed by doors being included in the WER ratings in April 2014. Now the Minimum Technical Competency (MTC) from |une 2014 as pan of the Competent Person Scheme (CPS) has arrived. All of this has meant that businesses have had to adapt to receive the correct accreditations within their businesses. But what exactly are the benefits?
