John Friel is the marketing p manager for Green Leaf Enterprises Inc., of Leola, Penn. The company was ranked 38th nationally in a U.S, agricultural magazine poll last year of the top 100 firms in the industry. The company has since become a subsidiary of Yoder Brothers Inc. Friel is a member of the Perennial Plant Association, the Professional Plant Growers Association and the Hardy Plant Society. Friel has been with the company since 1979, starting as a truck driver before moving up through management.
