Whiteflies are back!

The magic pesticide bullet is still a dream and probably always will be. There were many who were thinking that with the introduction of imidacloprid (Impower in Canada, Marathon in the U.S.) a few years ago, things couldn't get much better for whitefly control in poinsettias. How easy could it be? One application (often through the irrigation lines) for season-long control of a pest that has given growers nightmares for years. Far cheaper than the alternatives -- little labour cost and much more effective.
