Learning the ABCs of IPM

The time seems to have long passed when growers have had to be convinced of the benefits of Integrated Pest Management (IPM). In the late 1980s, we all new the principles of IPM from textbooks; primarily the use of a variety of pest control tactics which put pressure on the pest from a number of different angles (based on the old proverb about not putting all your eggs in one pesticide basket). But few had good practical experience of just how well these principles worked in the real world.
