SuperSoil Limited of Israel has developed a new technology for processing fresh cow manure into an inert base for artificial soil mixtures (as a peat substitute), for soil improvement, and as a replacement for bedding in livestock padlocks. The process is also applicable to sludge from paper mills, by itself or together with manure. The company calls the end product 'SuperSoyl' and says it can be produced at a fraction of the cost of growth media currently on the market."
