Assessing the effectiveness of Encarsia and Eretmocerus

Dr. Gabiiella Zilahi-Balogh, a postdoctoral fellow who has worked for the past three years at Harrow with entomologist Dr. Les Shipp, is continuing her study of the two leading whitefly parasitoids, Encarsia formosa and Eretmocerus eremicus. While both are effective during summer conditions, her studies have found Eretmocerus to be more effective during winter conditions.
