Mixed messages for wood but prospects good

In its 2012 State of Trade survey, the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) has highlighted some interesting findings about the joinery sector for the first quarter of the year. The only such poll to collect the views of this sector, researchers sought views from the full BWF membership, including joinery manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and installers of timber doors, windows, conservatories, staircases and all forms of architectural joinery, including shopfitting, timber frame buildings and engineered timber components.
