Costing your way to success

Costing in a greenhouse operation, or any operation, is divided into two parts. 1) The first aspect of costing concerns the dollar value of producing a specific product, the selling of it, and the marginal profit or loss of carrying that specific product. 2) The second part of costing is the indirect cost -- the human cost. These costs pertain to quality of life in such areas as health, family life and working relationships.
