Watering is the most important factor in plant production, yet it is often done with the least amount of measurable precision. Is it not strange that we spend thousands of dollars on equipment to measure and control just about all parameters in the greenhouse, such as temperature, humidity, light, fertilizer salts and acidity, but then we go to work, turn on the hose, and water our plants based on observation, personal experience, and by our "gut-feeling?"
