In this second article looking at the horticultural industry in Western Vietnam, Gary Jones, horticulture instructor at Kwantlen University College in Vancouver, looks at the potential for the industry in Dalai and at the success of one of the industry's pioneers. Having looked last month at some of the challenges currently facing the greenhouse industry in Dalat, located in western Vietnam, let's now turn our thoughts to developments in the region and the possibilities for the future. Much of the development is being driven by local government initiatives, and this is resulting in a secure base for further development.
