Madam, The nasolabial wrinkle (NLW) greatly impairs facial aesthetics by making one look older. Various treatments, such as laser resurfacing, botuhnum toxin injection and fillers, have been applied to efface the NLW. To evaluate the status of patient and treatment outcome, valid and reliable wrinkle severity assessment is required. Several methods, including the Modified Fitzpatrick Wrinkle Scale (MFWS) and Lemperle rating scale, have been suggested. Despite their convenience, most methods have considerable inter- and intra-observer variability due to subjectivity.
