SFU teaching award for veg researcher

With more than 900 excellent teaching and instructional staff at Simon Fraser University, it's difficult to point to those who go that extra mile for their students or impart that extra flash of inspiration. This year, student, staff and faculty nominations once again recognize just three of many special teachers. Among them is biology professor Dr. Zamir Punja (photo), whose ability to convey how complex biological principles impact everyday life in simple terms has made him as popular with students as he is with the media.
