The second Canadian Minor Use Pesticide Priority Setting Workshop was successfully carried out March 23-26 in Ottawa. At this workshop, commodity groups vie for one of 10 Priority "A" spots in each of three principal areas as follows: 1. Weeds and plant growth regulators. 2. Entomology - for insect and mit pests, 3. Pathology - for diseases. What does getting a Priority 'A' mean?
