Canada’s Meg Energy has lifted its capital spending target for 2022, the bulk of which it says will fund sustaining and maintenance activities at its operations. The oil sands producer plans to spend C$375 million next year, up from C$335 million in 2021. The new budget considers a 10 increase in capital costs resulting from inUation and supply chain pressures, the company said.
