The festive Federation Championship Show: Liz Fairbrother Reports from a Great Weekend

All credit to Adrian Keep and his team for another brilliant weekend so close to Christmas and with an atmosphere all it's own. While other people fight the crowds in the pre-Christmas shops, fanciers get into the festivities early by meeting their friends at this friendly but prestigious show. The spacious Halls at the Bingley Halls, Stafford Showground were filled as once again the entries exceeded last year's entry and the show reached a new record of over 500 entries in our Egg classes and President Brian Anderton was also pleased to report an increase in the Juvenile Section as well as other sections. The new comprehensive 'Best in Show' selection system includes all breed champions and best opposite sizes. Brian Anderton said 'I feel extremely honoured to have been chosen to judge this unique Championship line-up at this its inception'.
