It was hugely disappointing that the turkey classes were withdrawn from the Scottish National Show but with the weather that descended on Scotland over that weekend I was so relieved that my birds were safely at home and not in the freezing cold areathat they might have been at Lanark. I am still hopeful though that the Committee will have a rethink and put on turkey classes again for it would be possible to put them on display inside the main building.
