Tallahassee-The Florida Environmental Regulation Committee voted 5-1 to require greater financial assurances that phosphate companies will clean up their facilities at the end of operations in order to avoid the type of environmental crisis caused when the Mulberry Co.abandoned its processing plants three years ago.
