Low flows slow barges on key rivers

The worst drought in the Midwest in nearly 20 years has reduced flows and is raising havoc with fertilizer and other barge traffic on the Mississippi,Ohio,and Illinois rivers,slowing traffic,lightening loads,and in some cases causing towboats and barges to run aground.
