Washington-U.S.Representative Steve Pearce (R.-N.M.) on Feb.1 introduced the Potash Royalty Reduction Act of 2005 in the U.S.House of Representatives.While both the House and the U.S.Senate adopted legislation to reduce the royalty in the last days of the 108th Congress,it came too late in the process to reconcile the technical differences between the House and Senate versions and become law.
