Biomass urea plant gets funding for railroad spur

Miami—BioNitrogen Corp., the Florida company that plans to build a biomass-to-urea plant in Florida's Hardee County, announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Hardee County Industrial Development Authority that provides for $2 million in funding for arailroad spur on the land where the urea plant will be built. The MOU is still subject to board approvals, but the anticipated closing of the transaction will be before Dec. 31,2012.
