Law enforcement officers were surprised to find a 1,000-gallon tank more than half filled with anhydrous ammonia during a methamphetamine arrest in Lenawee County,but apparently it isn't the first such discovery in the state."There's been more than a couple of nurse tanks stolen," recalled James Byrum,who heads the Michigan Agribusiness Association.Byrum said the brazen acts of the meth thieves were another indication the problem is "so pervasive it's difficult to report all the thefts."
