TFI, others urge support of industry security initiatives, object to 'Chemical Security Act'

The Fertilizer Institute and the Agricultural Retailers Association, along with over 40 agricultural companies, including the American Farm Bureau and some 18 state fertilizer associations, have sent a letter to Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-S.D.) urging the Senate to support the agribusiness community's current security efforts and to oppose legislation that could slow or possibly reverse those ongoing activities.
