Ioren Daentl remembers being in seventh grade and thinking farm chores were just that - a chore. "I had completely sworn off the farm," he recalls. "I didn't care to know anything about the cows." One Guernsey calf changed that. In 2003, Daentl won Ridgeroll Bryant Dre-na through the Wisconsin Guernsey Breeders Association (WGBA) essay calf contest.
