Indian firm eyes Minemakers'Wonarah project

West Perth-Australian junior mining firm, Minemakers Ltd. confirmed last week that it has had confidential discussions with representatives of NMDC Ltd., a state-owned enterprise in India, about the development of the Wonarah project and has furnished information for the purposes of those discussions. It said those discussions are continuing and that it would provide information to the market in compliance with its continuous disclosure obligations if and when an outcome to those discussions is reached. Minemakers noted that speculation in the Indian press had been that an actual memorandum of understanding was to be signed shortly.
