CF shuts down Port Neal complex as floodwaters rise; river terminals and railroads take precautions

As rains continued to saturate the upper Missouri River Basin, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers increased releases from six upriver dams on the Missouri River last week. Downriver communities and businesses - including numerous fertilizer facilities - responded by fortifying and heightening levees, shutting down operations, or moving out products and equipment in advance of the expected record flood crests.
