CVR refinery purchase to benefit fertilizer business as it seeks more off-site storage

CVR Energy Inc. said its recent purchase of Gary-Williams Energy Corp. and its refinery in Wynnewood, Okla., should benefit CVR Partners LP, of which CVR Energy owns a majority interest. CVR says there is an opportunity for its fertilizer business to use the Wynnewood location to expand the footprint of its fertilizer marketing directly out of Wynnewood.
