The following Guernsey breeders were presented with awards at the National Guernsey Convention Awards Breakfast, Saturday, July 10,2004, in Fishkill, N.Y. The 2004 Outstanding Young Guernsey Breeder is Kevin Stoltzfus of East Earl, Pa. Kevin farms with his wife Dina, Kevin and Dina started their own operation in 1999. Kevin was raised on his grandfather's Warwick Manor Farm. After the cows were sold, Kevin kept animals at Snider Homestead Farm in Pennsylvania, Finally he was able to get back into milking full time. The herd currently consists of 60 Registered Guernseys with plans to market Golden Guernsey milk through a family grocery store, Kevin and Dina enjoy exhibiting their cattle at shows throughout the east and have garnered eleven All-American nominations over the years. Kevin has served as the President of the Pennsylvania Guensey Breeders Association and their farm earned a Pennsylvania Dairy of Distinction award in 2003. The current rolling herd average is over 17,000M 750F and 550P.
