The product is the first systemic induced resistance (SIR) fungicide to receive an unconditional registration in California, opening the door for additional future field effectiveness trials. Produced by Emerald Bio, theproduct appears to increase yields in various crops. At the same time, it can decrease the effect of powdery mildew in grapes. In grapes, AuxiGro is implemented as a foliar spray and helps control powdery mildew by increasing the vine's resistance to the disease by activating the regulatory system through which the flow of nutrients in the plant is controlled. The product works best when applied during an entire season before the arrival of powdery mildew, however it can also be integrated into traditional disease management programs.
