MASS TRANSIT - CHINA YOUNGMAN TO SHIP 1,000 CNG BUSES TO U.S. WITHIN 12 MONTHS

Youngman Automobile Group, a Chinese bus and coach manufacturer, plans to ship 1,000 high quality, German technology-based CNG buses to the United States within the next 12 months. ZAP (OTCBB:ZAAP) has been appointed as the exclusive importer and distributor for these buses within North America. Lotus Engineering Inc. will be leading the homologation and U.S. certification process, which is expected to take several months to complete. Reportedly, the company expects to deliver its first shipment by fourth quarter 2008 under the ZAP brand.
