The corrections as follow do not change the main results in any way, do not affect calculations of Q10, and have no bearings on the statistical analysis of the data.On page 1177, in the first full paragraph in column 2, respiration rates cited from Taber & Taber 1987, Souto et al. 2000, and Rygiewicz & Andersen 1994 should be 10–16 pmol CO2 s~(-1) mg~(-1), 50–70 pmol CO2 s~(-1) mg~(-1), and 11–16 pmol CO2 s~(-1) mg~(-1), respectively.
