摘要

Recently while searching the bookshelves in my office for some reference material for a colleague seeking advice about teaching, a book with the unusual title of Tigers Don't Eat Grass fell to the floor. The book, by Ronald Jenkins, contains Orientaland occidental aphorisms about life and business. It was given to me more than 13 years ago by an agricultural marketing student with an Asian background whom I had taught at the University of Western Sydney. The humorous and witty proverbs and sayings contained in the book were derived from the author's experiences in the Far East and Eastern philosophy.
