After so many trips to Nome, Alaska with the Gold Prospectors Association of America, it's hard to remember what year which events took place. But, I won't ever forget the first year, mainly because I thought there might be a chance I would never make it back to the Lower 48.I laugh about it now, but then I was serious enough to make out my will with Buzzard as the executor. In the event of my early demise, he was to auction off all my junk and property included. I was single and had no heirs to whom I wanted to leave anything. The rest of the crew just laughed at me, but Buzzard thought it was a wise decision.
