CB&I Wins License for Huating Coal-to- Polypropylene Project

Texas-based CB&I announced October 16 that it won a contract from Huating Coal Group Co. for license, basic engineering and related services for a coal-to- polypropylene plant at Huating Industrial Development Area Gansu in China. "The plant will use the 'Novolen' advanced gas-phase polymerization technology for the production of the full scope of polypropylene homopolymers, random copolymers and impact copolymers," according to CB&I.
