New York-based electric vehicle and utility advanced battery technology developer Ener1 announced April 2 that it completed its financial restructuring and successfully emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy as a privately-held company. The U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of New York confirmed the company’s plan of reorganization on February 28, 2012, and the plan became effective on March 30, 2012, according to the company.
