Alt-Fuel Investors Shifting to Alt-Feedstock, Alt-Product Companies

While investment in alternative fuels dropped to a four-year low in 2010, to US$930 million, a new Lux Research study shows that money is shifting toward companies that can tap alternative feedstocks rather than the traditional corn or soybeans feedstocks, and produce end-products that go beyond diesel or gasoline blendstocks.
