HOUSTON – Global oil demand is sputtering and prices for U.S. benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude could tumble to US$70 per barrel (/bbl) by 2015, according to James Rollyson, a senior vice president at Raymond James & Associates. Such price expectations are well below consensus estimates, but Rollyson said the same oversupply that has depressed natural gas prices is now working against oil.
