Indiana Legislature OKs CO2 Pipeline Bill; Boosts SNG Project

Following a previous defeat in the Indiana Senate in February, Indiana legislators on April 29 approved a revised bill enabling the construction of a carbon-dioxide (CO2) pipeline -considered crucial for the eventual construction of a proposed 40 billion-cubic-feet-per-year Indiana Gasification synthetic natural gas (SNG) project. The bill, SB 251, now awaits signing by Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels (R), a long-time supporter of the SNG project.
