13 Corporate Giants Join U.S. DOE's EV 'Workplace-Charging Challenge'

The U.S.-based Electric Drive Transportation Association, the Electrification Coalition and 13 U.S. corporations announced January 31 that they're joining the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) "Workplace-Charging Challenge" that aims to boost U.S. workplace-charging stations by 10-fold over the next five years. The companies include telecom giant Verizon, consumer products maker 3M, Chrysler, Duke Energy, pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly, Ford, General Electric, General Motors, Google, Nissan, San Diego Gas & Electric, Siemens and EV maker Tesla.
