U.S. Senators Introduce Bill to Spark Renewable-Energy Investments

Chris Coons (D-Del.) and Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) introduced new legislation – titled The Master Limited Partnerships Parity Act – aimed at “leveling the playing field” by giving investors in renewable-energy projects access to a decades-old tax advantage that’s currently available only to investors involved in fossil fuel-based energy projects.
