Twenty-three years ago, University of Utah researchers Martin Fleischmann and Stanley Pons unveiled startling laboratory test results on a non-radioactive, energy-abundant, “low-energy nuclear reactions” (LENR) technology – also known as “cold fusion.” But when their results couldn’t be replicated by other scientists around the world, Fleischman and Pons became infamous – subjects of scorn and ridicule rather than praise.
