Chicago, Philadelphia EV Owners Get Free Charging-Station Deals

Owners of electric vehicles (EVs) in Chicago and Philadelphia will get free ECOtality “Blink” EV charging stations under a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) sponsored program. Don Karner, chief innovation officer of ECOtality, commented that “by signing up for a free charger, EV owners can take part in this massive research project that can help reduce [U.S.] dependence on foreign oil.
