Illinois Becomes First U.S. State with EV Recharger at Governor's Mansion

Illinois on May 17 became the first U.S. state to have an electric-vehicle (EV) recharge station installed at the governor's mansion. The Coulomb Technologies "ChargePoint" station will recharge new EVs and will be used by government staff, according to Coulomb. "As we work to increase green practices and the use of renewable energy throughout the state, it is only fitting that this movement should start here at the people's house," Illinois Gov.
