U.S. State Regulators Urge U.S. EPA to Set 10-ppm Sulfur Gasoline Limit

The U.S. National Association of Clean Air Agencies (NACAA), which represents state air pollution regulators, on June 27 told U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to adopt a 10 parts per million (ppm) sulfur limit on gasoline for upcoming "Tier 3" fuels and light-duty vehicle (LDV) limits. A 10-ppm sulfur limit in gasoline would bring the U.S. into alignment with Europe's 10-ppm sulfur limit in Euro-5 gasoline.
