Promoting Renewable Energy, Nuclear Among IEA Goals -Member Energy Ministers

Energy ministers from 28 International Energy Agency (IEA)-member countries concluded a two-day conference in Paris October 19. The last time the IEA Governing Board met was October 2009, before events occurred such as the Deepwater Horizon incident in the Gulf of Mexico; events in parts of the Middle East and North Africa; and the Fuku-shima Daiichi nuclear station accident in Japan.
